Coastal Reproductive Services is dedicated to enhancing herd quality in the Southeastern region through expert bovine reproduction services. Led by Dr. Jerry Matthews, a specialist in bovine reproduction, the company offers advanced reproduction techniques including embryo transfer, flushing, IVF, BSE’s, and AI.

Dr. Matthews began his career by earning a DVM from Purdue College of Veterinary Medicine, where he developed a deep passion for embryo transfer while shadowing leading E.T. veterinarians. After graduating, he honed his skills at Trans Ova Genetics in Sioux Center, IA, and spent three years servicing IL, IN, WI, and IA, working with top producers and cattle.

In 2019, Jerry and his wife, Dominique, moved to Charleston, SC, where they adopted three children and welcomed a new baby in 2023. That same year, Jerry launched Coastal Reproductive Services to address the Southeast’s bovine reproduction needs. He has partnered with Black Creek Farms in Walterboro, SC, for haul-in services and collaborates with Trans Ova Genetics for IVF through their P.W.P. program.

Jerry maintains AETA certification and USDA Accreditation and is committed to expanding his business and fostering lasting industry relationships.
